The short answer is yes. However HWDMS regards examsas collecting an award for a standard attained, not a goal to be aimed for. HWDMS currently organises external music exams with the ‘Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music’ and ‘Trinity Guildhall’ with the main entry taking place during the summer term. Pupils are entered for external exams subject to their tutor’s recommendation.
